im confused = i was actually reffering to the original post, not to your anally injected death sentences

you gotta admit, "anally injected death sentances" is good. A lot of thought put into that.

You are in italy... and you still watch TV and use the PC. Those things can be done everywhere. The whole fun about trips to other nations is doing thing you wasn't able to do before. : That way it's more fun and special.

I'm still angry at myself that 6 years ago, the last trip I had to other countries, I played in a stupid gameboy instead of really enjoying myself. I don't say you need to start taking drugs or something... but still there are some non crazy/stupid things you can do that you would never do at home.
Well, have fun anyway.

Is Italian ice cream actually like the kind you buy in a store or is it different? When I think of Italian ice cream I think of the icy, "sherberty" stuff that you buy in little cups.
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-04 19:55:29 UTC Post #218039
Sacrilege, like saying italian ice cream tastes like mcDonlands! :x

No, of course they don't taste like that! Gelato doesn't taste like that at all! It's much tastier, the italians are well known to be the best at ice creams. They are actually quite mad about them, they have dosen kinds(not tastes) of ice creams, and a lot more kinds of ice cream cakes.
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-04 19:57:35 UTC Post #218040
Well they have a dozen everything. I mean, they have a different kind of pasta to go with every kind of sauce  Food is good.

Where did you go then? :)
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-15 09:41:58 UTC Post #219152
I have returned!

I went to Rome, Naples, Sorrento (and the Amalfi Coast), Florence and Venice. We went for day trips to a few other places too. It was awesome.

By the way, Elon, I only went on the net twice over the whole two weeks and that was to talk to my girlfriend. :) Since I went with a bunch of friends from school, I found bumming around in the hotel rooms to be more fun than some of the sight-seeing. That's not to say the sights weren't amazing though, Amalfi and Lake Garda were jaw dropping.

I'll upload some photos when I can be bothered. I'm really tired atm though and should probably get to bed. Twenty hours on a plane for the lose.

:>

I was in Italy for 10 days back in 2002, and Venice was what I liked the most. The architecture, the trip there by boat and the absence of cars in the city were some of the details that made it seem we were in some other dimension.
(Okay, maybe the fact that I didn't sleep at all in the 20-hour bus trip from Paris could have altered my perception a bit. )
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-15 23:23:26 UTC Post #219201
usually alters it in a negative way doesn't it?
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-15 23:27:32 UTC Post #219202
Arcan, if you don't care, then fuck off. I really don't care what you think.

Kasperg, I also found Venice to be the best. Not entirely sure why, but it was just really awesome walking around and having nfi where you're going. Me and a few friends got totally lost and reached the ghetto area, which was kinda scary but fun at the same time.

Ant, I'm sick of pizza now. D: Seriously, I want a fucking meat pie and some Weet Bix.
