Iv'e made this map with source sdk, and when i tested it with bots they either just walk to a corner and jump up and down, or just stand there...
anyone got any ideas to make them work like they do on for example de_dust2 and cs_assault and those maps?

Did you generate a nav mesh in-game?

Did you place info_node's in the places the bots are supposed to walk around in. Then did you compile the map, go in-game, select bots to on and load the map and then let it do its thing.

After that it should be fine. If they keep bumping in to things it may be your map is too dodgy for them and the NAV needs editing. That requires a whole new skill and I'd suggest googling it.

Does Source still use info_nodes?

Well I like to think I know these things and so far my bot experience has worked fine with the nodes so yeah :)

Thank god, the nav mesh that's generated for Venetia is terrible.

they still just walk into a corner, but atleast they walk towards the terrorist spawn^^
i guess i shold have the spawns so they can walk in a straight line towards each other...

type sv_cheats 1 in the console, then proceed to type

nav_generate

Nodes are not required.
