I've try Verify and defrag the last time I used sdk it was about 6 month ago. not sure whats wrong any suggestions would help.thanks.

Hey, I'm having a problem with the source SDK It won't load every time I go to load it says preparing to launch then nothing happens. I've try Verify and defrag the last time I used sdk it was about 6 month ago. not sure whats wrong any suggestions would help.

Have you tried re-instaling it?
That usually works, and source sdk ain't that big so it doesn't take very much time either.

yea I've re-installed it about 10 dif times and nothing.

I've figured it out i started reading other posts i found of this problem I had to put -engine ep1 in the launch options and it loaded

Hey I just had the same problem, and put -engine ep1, and it worked. Why Episode 1? I don't even have ep1?

Because the Episode One engine is what HL2 and Counter-Strike: Source are running on.
