Hey guy?s... i?m, not sure what i?m doing wrong or not doing at all but idont have neither sky textures nore glass textures...could someone help me ... i was making this map of my school...it would look SO awesome if it where actually good...Alsow, i don?t really know the proportions of the players in relacionship to the map... (some poeple say that right now it looks like de_rats) so if someone could help me i would be very thankfull

Thisshould help you out with the dimensioning of things.

If you add the regular wads to your hammer file the textures should all be there.

Read through this again to help with adding more textures.

Of course this goes on the assumption that you're using the goldsource engine (HL1) and not the Source engine (HL2+)

If this is for HL1/CS 1.6:

A tips is to add in a info_player_start, those are about the same size of a player in-game, so you can use it as a reference while building the map.

For textures, add halflife.wad, it contains the standard textures used in HL like glass, sky etc.
