I am a long time Worldcraft mapper for HL1 but iv only just setup to map for HL2. And just my luck i immediately have problems. When i got everything set up and opened sourceSDK and started hammer i decided to make the simplest map i know. A hollowed cube, all the same texture. With a light and a player start. I tried to run the map and every time it comes up with an error message.
----->Failed to load the launcher DLL: The specified module could not be found.<----
I need some help to fix this. I have a mad urge to do some mapping and my Worldcraft isnt working either!!! HELP!!

this is simple, it can't find one of the hl2 dlls needed to launch it, this is not hammers problem, it's your hl2's problem. try to reinstall half life 2, see if that works.
