Now before I say anything, this is a Vista-based problem and if you're going to say anything about Vista or my usage of it, get the fuck out because I'm not going to have any tolerance for it here.
Alright here goes:
This is a problem that XP didn't have, but Vista does, is activating Line-In to be used for audio output and not just recording. My setup consists of a wire from my computer line-in to my TV headphone jack. I want to be able to transmit sound from my crappy TV speakers to my Altec Lansing speakers hooked to my computer without sacrifice.
One fix I've come across is using Audacity as a medium, because it will play back sound through there, although I've made this work, the problem is a very annoying lag between arrival and output.
I want to know if anyone has a fix for this or if they can find a fix. I've searched everywhere and still can't figure it out.
