A friend of mine send me this one strange picture to my cell phone last night with some instructions on how to see it. Well, after following the instructions on how to see this picture, I freaked-out for a second, but just momentarily. Afterwards, I just started to laugh at the whole thing, it's just a silly trick of the eyes.

Here's the picture:

Now, follow these instructions carefully:

1.Relax and concentrate on the 4 small dots in the middle of the picture for approximately 30 seconds.

2.Take a look at a wall near you (or any smooth, single colored surface).

3.You will see a circle of light developing.

4.Start blinking your eyes a couple of times and you will see a figure emerging...

5.What do you see? Moreover, who do you see?

Even without reading the instructions I already knew how to look at it. Looks like Jesus to me. Furthermore, if you look at he illusion long enough, without paying attention to it, you can manage to understand the layout, and see it that way too.
These illusions are awesome.

This is one of the oldest illusions I can think of. I remember seeing this in elementary school.

Yeah, I've seen that kind before too. Dunno if it was the same one or not.

Yes, coming back on what World Crafter said, this picture is pretty old, in fact so old, a lot of people have already forgotten it. I have been told it is actually part of a collection of other pictures like it.

I saw Darth Vader for a second, actually.

The illusion ChickenFist posted is pretty neat. It takes a little doing, but if you look at how the shadows are cast as the window becomes parallel with the camera's line of view, you can see through the illusion

I like the forced depth of field imagery that makes stuff look like miniatures.

Yes. You have almost the same effect after playing guitar hero for a few hours. After your eyes adjust to the screen moving down, everything else seems to move up.

I got drunk one night and played for 3 hours straight, i swear when i turned around i thought my toaster was floating...

(It was a dorm room, why else would there be a toaster behind me?)
