I've been running the release candidate for Windows 7 for about a month and I've been pretty happy with it (save for the occasional but wholy understandable compatibility issue). I wondered if anyone else had been using it at all and what they thought.

So... discuss!

I might be wrong on this, but I think I heard somewhere that some PC makers like HP and Dell will be the first ones selling new Windows 7 equipped computers about a month before the retail version of Windows 7 comes out to stores.

I've bought the discounted version now.

It's only $49 from Newegg until July 11th. After that, it's going to be selling for $120.

Downloaded the RC a short while ago, plan on switching to it soon just to give it a whirl. There's a few things I already don't like about Windows 7, but they seem pretty minor, and easy to disable (annoying little features like shake).

I'll probably use XP until the day it's no longer supported. I don't see the point of upgrading unless I build a new PC (very unlikely ATM).
