well, title says it.
how can i use cs source models in an episode one map?
get them out the gcf or something? im new :)

You could use GCFscape, but you'd have to find some way to make the player have CS:S as well as Ep1 (Make a mod, maybe?) because it's illegal to redistribute the content to people who don't have the game.

Just don't tell people you used content from CSS, and nobody will know.

okay, just extracted all the csprops via gcfscape and put them in my episode1models-folder.

models' names are showing up in the browser, but the models don't...

indeed i did.
if i click on "collision" the collisionmodel shows up, but the normal models won't, i don't get it.

SOLVED:
i did not know, i also had to copy files from the materialsfolder, thought the textures already were included in the modelsfolder.
