I have a simple question with a not so simple answer.

Right now I have an AVPRO ADVE-9021 Deluxe, which is complete shit and I'm going to flush it down the toilet. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't pick up anything from plugged-in cables. Sometimes it causes a bluescreen+reboot the moment I plug anything on it. Needless to say, that makes it anything but reliable. So when it pisses me off enough, I'll post it on ebay or something and get a working one.

Does anyone know a good video capture card? Because all I seem to come across on the market is worse than this.

That card is good, have you tried different drivers?

There are no more drivers for it.

If you want a cheap SD capture card you can't go wrong with EzCAP, it's extremely cheap and if it's not good enough, you didn't waste any money.

Yeah well I do want it to be good enough, otherwise I wouldn't have a full-res capture card.

On second thought, I might just do that.
