Does anyone know of a program, other than RivaTuner, that allows me to set up parameters for when my GPU fan speed ramps up?

Currently, my fan rarely, if ever, moves from 40% usage, even if my GPU temperature is almost 90ºC (194ºF). I can manual turn up my fan before gaming using nVidia System Tools, but this, obviously, requires that I always remember to do that. I tried to use RivaTuner to automate it, but it wouldn't give me control over my GPU fan, even after following a how to (note: the nVidia tool supposedly supports this, but doesn't work either).

System spec of consequence afaik:

XFX GeForce GTX 285
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I know ATI Tool lets you control your fan speed. It used to work on NVidia cards too, but I'm not sure if it still does today. This was about 2ish years ago.

SpeedFan, but it's a pain in the butt to set-up. Never actually understood how to do it.
With SpeedFan you can control just about any PWM fan.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I did try to use SpeedFan, but it can only control fans connected to the motherboard. It can't do a thing for GPUs, unfortunately.

ATITool, at least according to Wikipedia, does work for nVidia cards, but like RivaTuner, hasn't been updated in years (2007 for ATITool and 2009 for RivaTuner).

EDIT: Of note, in case it helps, with RivaTuner (not sure if it's the only reason) and now, ATITool, it tried to install unsigned drivers, which my version of Windows does not allow. This may be a factor.
