I feel like some of you may be interested in this. GameBanana seems to be having a lot of contests lately(a good thing), and they all have prizes.

This one is unique in that you only have to build a single prefab!

Modelling your entry is recommended though not required, and as always with GB contests, any engine/mod/game is acceptable to use for your submission. (i'm submitting mine as a brushwork prefab for csgo)

I didn't realise you were American. On that note, try and mention that this is only open to US residents.

Maybe they can offer GB points* as an alternative prize to international entrants? (suggestion made in the thread)

*For those unaware, You can use GB points as currency for services like skinning, mapping work, tf2 items, etc., with other GB users.
