The website states it was created for high school students to want to get into the gaming industry.
What about the 20 to 30 aged people who have media degrees already busting their asses between paychecks and not getting a single break or opportunity? Are they going to hand out opportunities like that when thousands of us have already worked fucking hard to do it every day without any gain? I'm sorry guys, this pisses me off for some reason.

The focus of Pipeline is to bring a new generation into the video game industry with the right view on video game design. Valve is probably the best company to introduce the next generations of designers into the industry. Imagine if EA tried to do this...

I agree with Rimrook. There's a generational and experiential gap represented here, and it kinda makes me feel shafted--not that I'm even pursuing such a career.

Ha. I had a dream last night in which HL3 was actually officially announced. It was pretty RPG-y and Gordon Freeman had to wear disguises for some stealth operations.
