ok i dont even know if this would work, but bare with me.

This would be a great challange, me and my friends have benn discussing a map i want to make( they dont map), It would be a fun house and/or a MIRRIOR MAZE!
and one that works to.

the only way we could think to do this was to have a camra in front of/in a mirror and have the image appear on the mirror it is on.

This may be asking too much, it may be too complex for the map to run smoothly, but if anyone could make this map it would be greatly appreciated.
And like i said, it would be a great compition.

It isn't possible with the HL engine, it's not that advanced. Use an engine like Deux Ex or Postal 2 (I know you can mirror with those).

And Max Payne 2

I think you should go a bit higher level than that and think about what an INFINATE NUMBER OF REFLECTIONS entail for a 3d engine

Why infinite?

Why infinite?
Ever been in a house of mirrors? Might not be infinite but we're at least talking tens of thousands of images... unless it's really lousy. Like this one time, at band camp...

4 x 10000 = 40?

That's interesting mathematics. Sounds like something outta Hitchiker's Guide to me.

no i mean, you cnat hve 10000 mirrors at once, so i make it in normal guidelines you idiots, learn math homework next time becae it would mean 10000x10000x100000x100000x100000
ore 10000x1000000000x1000000000000000x10000000000000000x adn ever goign on multiple

see it should be all clear now

OK, you look in a mirror holding up a mirror, you see the same image if you look in all the mirrors for - in my opion a phisic's law - an infinite # of times. In other words your computer would probably crash if it had to do that (probably, im no whiz). Talk about overload... Its like in programming, you tell your computer to do somethin (A) and (A) says to go to (A) and then your in a never endin loop that would screw people up. Sorry for babble that people prolly wont understand. It was a good idea though :
