wow, thats a pretty sweet teaser.

It's a bit rough though - it's just a very early room that I made especially for the video, (mainly to test out some of the shock-flashback effects the mod is going to be based around.... oops said too much ) it's using nothing but the original HL wad and I hate it lol... gonna start building the lobby of the Sanitarium tomorrow when I get back from work, got the whole thing planned out, but it's gonna be all pink HL logos untill I get my wad made

Had fun making the logo for the website, though Coming soon! (The website, that is.... the mod isnt anywhere near getting off the ground yet Need people to help!)

How did you make the blood?
I've been trying around a lot with wind to make dripping down blood or paint, but it always looked like crap.
Do you still need mappers?

I basically just got an image from google with the blood, made it black and white, changed the layer in photoshop to "multiply" so it got rid of everything but the blood (with a little messing around in the "levels" settings) and made it red with the "hue/saturation" settings. If that sounds too hard, check this tutorial out - it's what I used.

And yes, I'm still looking for mappers! Actually what I really need is someone to make me a few models and animations for them... mappers will be needed later. Can you do models? Or maybe you have a talent of making textures? Anything you can do, tell me! That goes for other people who wanna help out, too!

I'm currently part of a mod called Critical Mass (www.seascape.uk.net) and I'm making my own mod at the same time (Missile logic - http://groups.msn.com/Tycellmappingdistrobutioncenter ) But if i get some time i wont mind making a map or two.

I have a talent of being incredibly lazy, which keeps me from improving my 2d and 3d arts skillz.

I bet I could produce some nice textures and maybe even some models, but I prefer mapping, since I'M a mapper.

Well, if you multiply the quality of those with a high number, you'll get what I can create when I take my time.
Actually those maps are products of a suddend idea that I got during a lan-party. I created them all in very few minutes, that's why there is nothing cool to look at or play around with.
But it's good that you liked them.
I have access to IRC, so we could talk on the TWHL channel or so.
I could also install ICQ, but I don't have MSNM.

Well, it won't be an official channel, per se, but we could set it up on irc.chatbear.com (same as TWHL) on #sanitarium....should work, i've been able to make my own channels that way before. If y'all cant connect to it, ill either go and download mIRC or wait till I get home to set it up.

I'm not finding it...... I'm at chatbear, but there's no channel called #sanitarium. When I type /join #sanitarium, I end up in an empty room, which I'm guessing isnt our channel because I can also type in /join #wneishdbajwhe and I end up in another empty room
