I have only (ever) downloaded 2 MODs, and when I want to play either of them, an error message
comes up saying "Cannot load library: [path to client.dll]"
The 2 MODs were 'Jailbreak', and 'The Ship'

Does anyone else ever have this problem, or does anyone know how to fix it ?

Try reading the how to make a mod tutorial, that should give you a good
idea of how the HL file system works. You should be able to repair the
installation then.

Or you could have installed it wrong, try re-installing

I know...... sorry but it is really annoying when you spend 4 - 5 hours downloading it, and it doesn't work, and doesn't give you any description on why it won't work !!

4-5 hours? dial-up?

Anyway, sometimes I get the same problems, and I don't know what causes them either, but I know it pisses me off!
