Can some one post a link to the snarkpit, because I added it to my favorites (it did not work), I googled it (it did not work), and I clicked the indented link to snarkpit on google (it did not work). Please just post the address that hyperlinks to it, that is all I need, nothing else, not even any comments, just one reply that has the address with a hyperlink, no more, no less.

there was talk there recently, about how twhl cookie system could be used to stop twhl members getting into the snarkpit, because of all the trouble they had caused.

I'm wagering it's down since Nightwatch's site gives me the same error, and ModDB as well, and they're all hosted by Oktagone, which has an er...interesting... server downtime record.

Snarkpit's average age is higher than TWHL's - hence, a few think that they are better.
But TWHL is friendlier - but Snarkpit is more mature... But TWHL has great community.. But so does Snarkpit... The list goes on.
Forget the list....

Oktagone and moddb are back, to an extent (oktagones site is on/off and appears to be the Apache test page.
After speaking to Leperous and pointing him in the way of the unfolding controversy regarding Ezzi.net/Oktagone, he has secured backups of the site. We aim to be back up soon, hopefully in the coming hours or days. No ETA yet though
Just have to be patient...

TWHL was invaluable to get me started on mapping, and the Pit made me a better mapper.
I do enjoy the maturity of the Pit. Being over thirty myself, I tend to think slower and have greater attention span. Or perhaps it's because Orph is a member and he makes me feel young.

Errrrrrrrrr not so sure on that question - I think for the time being when the site returns, yes we are - but rest assured new hosts are being searched to avoid the random downtimes and bandwidth limit breakings we had in the past
