I've made a square brush, and made it a func_traintrack and then added some path_track's for it to go along, only problem is when it goes up, and your on it, it moves all choppy, going down is find just not up, anyhelp?

i have that problem too.. and by "i" i mean "my mate". He asked me to stick a lift in his map and i've tried several different func_ 's n they all seem to bounce on their way up. I'll let you know if i solve it.

Well, at least your elevators works better than mine, my elevator changed angle in game, and just went dow, and never up... :P
And if you where in it, you got killed by some reason. lol

I'm not sure if this will work, but try to make your lift brush into a func_brush. Open the flags tab and check the box that says something about "the player will stand on this". Now make a func_tracktrain and parent the train to the func_brush.

see if that works.

ive made ones before, from that snarkpit tut, ill try that dr as well, when i fix up my area i may, but I just made it "broken" and added a ladder and some sparks on the button :P
