Hey Ive been mapping for a little bit now but i still have some questions. When i create objects from the prop physics multiplayer selection they seem very bright. So when i go to hit them or touch them the go back to there normal shade and push me away and about 2 seconds later go back to being bright. but this problem doesnt seem to happen when i disable there motion. This makes me extremely mad because who wants a map where everything looks really bright!!!?!!?
I also had a question about my camera in hammer.
When I am in Hammer all I see for the camera is everythings wireframe. but when I look at turoials online i see everything including the colors and texture of objects. any suggestions??????
Thanks,
        Metal

for the camera, right click on camera in the 3d window (or wireframe in your position) and click on 3d textured, this made me mad for awhile too cause noone tells you how.

other things, I have no idea, some objects arnt made to be physic, try adding light and cubemaps near it
