I am going to try to make an HL2 version of de_bedroom but make it 1337 this time! I want it to be to scale for braging rights... and I am trying to figure out how to do it. It said on VERC that 1 in = 1 unit for HL2, but I want gordon to only be 4 inches high (to keep the de_rats style)... So what do I have to multiply the actual size in inches of everything by to get the properly sized units?

Somewhere I read gordon is 33 units high... but that means hes like 3 feet tall...

no he's actually 72 units high. 4inches means that he'll be 4units high. So what's th problem?

so a door is 96 units high and 64 unith in width. then do this 72*(96/4) and you get the height of a door, IF you want player to be 4 unith high.

just because you didn't pay attention. You can edit only those of your posts if there's no posts below yours post. In short if you're not the last poster - you can't edit.

New dimension = old dimension * (normal Gordon height/new Gordon height).

Obviously the heights of Gordon need to be in the same units, and so do the old and new dim's.

Hammer 4 has a Imperial units feature, where you can map in inches. If only it had metric...
