what about fortress forever, is that using the hl1 engine, if it is, whats the point. i think we need a revival of team fortress, with some new maps, or revamped old ones. a source version of 2fort would be complete pwnage.

i remember a link posted here ages ago telling about a HL2 'TFC' style mod. But having a revival would be good, it was a very good game indeed

there are still a lot of players (20 v 20 game an hour or 2 ago. I was the BEST player and ranked 74 out of 1504

The problem is that the mapping fourms are more or less dead with no update to the site since last year and most of the players have no idea how to map or anything.
TFC:S would be good. It would bring TEAM FORTRESS back to life
or all the good mappers here (7th, cap P ect) could start makeing a bacth of TFC maps. There have been no good new ones for some time now.

Tfc2 is being developed by valve. and then you have the 3dparty mod fortress forever.

what graphics engine are they using, that is my main concern.. also how much would it cost? i'd hope it to be cheap or free. i dont mean to be a bother if you dont know that information, but if you do, please tell us.

I get the willies just looking at that site zombie. it looks so sweet, i cant wait for it to come out. the models lok so crisp.. i wonder why they didnt develope 2fort, well, or dustbowl yet, those are like 3 of the more popular tfc maps. or did they name them something different? i wanna play it now it looks so good!! long live tfc - the war is never over
