Inspired by the Source map, ka_skyrise. Its a very large city with a platform in the middle. The platform is raised several hundreds of meters and is held in place by a massive girder system in the center of the platform.

Beware!!!!! The r_speeds max out at 2000!! you have been warned, I don't want any complaints!

Janurary 16th, 2006: Fixed bug where people could still buy guns. Redownload the map if you downloaded it before this date.

Why are you, of all people, still mapping for HL? :|

Well I could have lowered the r_speeds, probably a great deal, but I really wanted to let the textures look good so I didn't stretch most of them.

heh,

Once again a giant evil city map with evil R_speeds...

It looks good, but Really, I agree with Alex, something like this should be in source...

Could be the prettiest ka map I've ever seen! I really don't give a crap about the r_speeds, though I suppose alex is right. Nice curves, surrounding buildings, and general concept is pretty cool.

+Excellent Architecture, lighting, texturing--your nicest-looking yet imo.

-perhaps use kaspergs stair method, where you adjust the x-coord only on the rise part of the stairs, so it doesn't look so uniform.

Excellent Work!

Not sure what you mean by only adjusting the x-coordinates but thanks for input. Now how about some ratings :)

Whoops sorry!

Texture thing. Your stairs:

Instead, try this and see how it looks:

However you want to do it, just so the rise textures don't line up exactly with each other.

The stairs look fine the way they are, just a thought :P
