Dm Hairpoint

Design: Dm Hairpoint is entirley my own work but the inspiration came from a picture of a game level I had seen. I don't know what game it is but I owe some credit to it. I also used this map as a base for a few architectural experiments including the domed arched-tunnel, small detailed trims, hanging wires and double layer water. The last idea came from Rimrook's Alpestrine map in the pool. It makes the water look som much more real. I also used, for the first time, null texturing on every possible face This map is arena style so only 2-3 player server would have fun with this otherwise it'll turn into a bloodfest. There is plenty of cover but also open areas and only half the map is lit, turning this map into a stalking ground. Have fun!

Rimrook for water technique
Remember to at least list a couple of +'s and -'s to help the mapper, a rating isn't much use without them!
Some ok sound and nice doodads that i could see like a blinking streetlight and the fountain.
Besides the darkness, Scale looks really huge in places like the size of the gate and the height of the fountain.
The wpolys are +3000 in some places, but it ran smoothly for me.
Despite the troubles i'm going 5 for the sheer beauty and nice ambience of the map, and just the wow factor on how pretty it was. Great work as always!
