Mod for my competition entry. I'll finish it when I'm back from Jamaica. And when i don't have a time limit, i can put GOOD work into it. Not rushed, crappy work.

UPDATE!!!!!!! 2/11/14

Extract everything to the common/half-life folder.

Thanks for playing

You shouldn't have posted you'r entry, I still have a few days left and now I know what im up against. Btw awesome gameplay, it goes on for a long time and is really neat. Ocarina is one of my favorite games. And the platform is nintendo 64.

This is really friggin cool! A lot of time has gone into the replication of the area.

very nice work, i won't rate it until you finish it when you get back.

Really neat, though i still haven't played oot thingie you gave me!

Some nice textures and buildings. I loved the treehouses and the big tree guy thingie. the trigger camera thinies in the tree shops are a pretty neat idea (are they teleports too? i see when you walk in noclipping nothing is there!) Good music and ambient sounds, which is always nice.

The first area could look better but i don't know exactly what's wrong with it besides to say it looks bland. Maybe more stark contrast with the tree textures to the environment or the other way around, or maybe just making it a little darker will do the trick. (I find bright maps personally hard to make the lighting look good, i think that's why mine are always pretty dark = ) ) It's also got to be tough in terms of resources because that area is so open and big.

Anyway, I can tell you put a lot of work into this, and it seems to me like a perfect entry for the compo. I'm sure after i play oot i will appreciate it much more. I'm going 5 stars for the obvious amount of work and time you put into it.

Great compo Entry!

I finally got around to playing this...
While it is a good remake, it does lack some vital details, such as the Kokori townsfolk, and there was no ending after the boss battle.
Other than that, from my (Hazy) memory of OOT, it seems to be pretty faithful. :)
4/5 for the good remake using only HL enemies.
Also, why did you include the temple of time, it does nothing!

I'm guessing the temple map was there to make a screenshot of for the background.

Anyway this is really good nonetheless; the only other mod to make me get an "explore-around-town" feeling is Half Quake Amen. Inside the tree was pretty fun with simple combat and puzzles. Had you finished this, I'd think it would be an excellent mod; right now it's just 2 excellent maps.
