After a long journey, four survivors have come to terms with the fact that, even if they escaped the city, the unstoppable legions of infected would chase them relentlessly. Tired, hungry and with nowhere else to go, the four companions decide to bring some yuletide festivities to an otherwise lifeless city block.

Holy performance issues, Batman!

Not a bad map, but pretty messy, and faaaar too open. Major performance drop when you're looking at one end of the map from the other.

Ant and I got gold simply camping at the top of a fire escape with pistols and a machete, might want to work on the nav around those tricky places.

I have to agree. There's some definite potential in this map, but it's let down by a lack of a polish and a poor frame rate. This isn't a computer issue either: you've clearly pushed the engine the wrong way and it's reacting rather badly.

In terms of polish, it's a lot of little things: for example, in some places, you've used a skybox texture for walls and whatnot, which look ultra blurry. Stuff like certain fences don't connect with surrounding walls, so they're kinda just floating in mid-air. As well as that, there is the aforementioned issue of being able to breeze past the map with a pistol. Hell, I nearly got to ten minutes on my own (somehow a Tank came up).

Still, very good effort.

I thought it was pretty good. I didn't cheat like a cheating cheater cheats on the fire escape, and I lasted until the second pair of tanks showed up. I'll save my rating until you update it (hope you do!) because fixing the issues mentioned before, plus the obvious stuff like that oddly lit section of wall(99% of the time caused by using a model texture on brushwork) will bump my rating up from like a 3.5 to 4.5

great map, seasonal stuff is fun!
