IMPORTANT: Download the Nightwatch Textures and put them in your Hammertime directory

Hammertime is a parody/tribute to HL1 mapping.

The player plays a really bad map pack and comments on it MST3K style.
Then the player gets fed up with the mappack.

This is my first project so don't expect anything good.
This is just a demo that I wanted to release and get feedback on.
In the first map (hammer0) walk up to the pictures on the wall.

Good god the download's a huge mess!!

And out of it, I'm missing some textures. Try and make it a little organized, please?

I can only say, if I pretended to be a new player who knows nothing about the mod, and if I go in and start up the game, I would (as a new player) have no idea what the eff is going on at all in the mod. I'd say the first thing to do is at least convey the story to the player in-game somehow.

For the demo, are you supposed to be able to play through the edited mappack, or is that not part of the demo?

VERY nice proof of concept and pretty well done, though obviously some things could be smoother/fluid when you transition from one level change to another.

The point was that You just got home from somewhere and decided to play a mappack that you didn't have enough time to play before. Then you realize that the maps are god awful and that inspires the player to try to start mapping. The level transitions were supposed to be bad. Same with the mapping during the "Mappack" part.
