Howdy TWHL, been some time since I uploaded anything to the vault. Hell it's been awhile since I opened Hammer up. This was probably my last major attempt at making something before losing interest in Source mapping. Think I started it in 2014 and I messed with it on and off for a few years, before this week the last time I had touched it was 2017. I liked the idea of having futuristic airships flying around fighting each other and doing ground assaults. I had planned for this to be a 4 or 5 map series, starting on the Battleship Athens, moving to the ground, going up to the carrier in the skybox as it fell under attack, and eventually ending in a city environment as the carrier crashed down. I don't know how well Source could handle that, I don't know how I would even realize that, but I thought it would be kick ass.
So here's a little slice of what was to be, the initial starting bunk, the 24th Air Assault Battalion's bunks on the Athens, and a medbay(that I added today to see if I could deal with Hammer again). There are 3 working doors, and that's really it for interaction. The lighting is terrible, that's never been my strong suite. I'll probably keep adding on things to the map, maybe one day I'll feel as driven about making maps as I used to, but for now I'm just not feeling it. I hope it interests someone.
Install is same as any other ep2 map, throw the .bsp in the maps folder and use console to play it.
