This example map demonstrates the use of a func_trackchange. If you remember from Half-Life's singleplayer campaign, func_trackchange entities are used a couple of times in the On a Rail chapter, those rotating train platforms that are used to switch the path for a func_tracktrain that sits on top of the platform. Additionally, the func_trackchange platform can also ascend or descend like a lift/elevator as it rotates towards the new path.
The example map contains four func_tracktrains. Each one of them has its own func_trackchange platform to ride to and sit on top of to switch paths. Each func_trackchange platform behaves slightly different from the other ones. The first one will just rotate 90 degrees and will not ascend or descend. The second platform will descend but not rotate. The third will descend and make a full 360 degrees rotation. The last one will descend and spin 90 degrees in the opposite direction.
