My very first deathmatch map.

Please inform me of any flaws/tips. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.

it is like my first map :) .. i think you should run RAD when you compile. and your map is too small maybe the smallest one i have seen ;) you should add some textures to your towers . put some more crates and weapons ..but instead don't touch this map and begin a new one :)

Er, looking at that pic, it looks like he has run RAD.

Has anyone actually played this map with another player? I am interested to hear about how the gameplay turned out.

jump onto IRC, the folks there love testing out new deathmatch maps.

I've turned down the lighting intensity of the map, and now it looks a great deal better. Thanks for the input.

I played it with my friend in the cafe we really liked it .But you should put some blocks or something that players can use strategy. 8-)

Thanks for the input, Saco. But I am not sure what you mean by "blocks". I've already put in barrels and other objects that won't explode as effective barriers against AR and shotgun bullets. As far as dodging grenades, you'll just have to be alert and be light on your feet.

The towers provide interesting shelter from incoming fires. Shooting those explosive crates through those slit-openings in the cement walls can be an effective strategy against the opponent. I've used that method to kill off grunts in the SP version of the map.

+Very Interesting turrent design
-Too small IMO
-a couple misaligned brushes, otherwise very clean
-Besides the towers, map is kinda plain IMO

Nice Job
