A way to create weapon specific zones.

Also, this shows how to properly use the game_player_equip to specifically give items to a player, as well as stripping and re-equipping.

neat. now make it work when you changlevel from that map and come back to use it again: I've found equips won't work more than once across levels fsr..

Also, i wish for DM, you could specifically equip one player instead of everyone or the whole team; i always wanted to make a "glock pop machine".... =)

Something from the payload experiments? I thought you've never managed getting player-specific equips to work. ;o

... they are player specific! If a player walks into an area, that player only gets equipped.

you CAN make a glock dispensing soda machine.

This would be great for underwater... only have the crowbar available, instead of all these ridiculous underwater gunfights.

oh so it only effects the player that trips the trigger?

I don't see how this is something new, player_weaponstrip and game_player_equip have been in Half-Life since the beginning and have been used in lots of maps?
avatar Rimrook says: 11th January 2010, 02:12 AM
Of course it has been around for a long time. That doesn't mean everyone knows how to do it.

True.
