"Loose nut in my head. I can't think straight my mind's a mess. I only see straight when I'm being led." (Black Flag, Loose Nut)

My entry for compo 34 (http://twhl.info/competitions.php?results=34)
Its meant to mirror Power Struggle from Blue Shift (as well as some other elements from the last chapters of Blue Shift).

To install just put the map in the maps folder and run via Opposing Force console (ie. map nine_comp34).

Very nice! Loved the varied floor texturing, the atmospheric coloured lighting (although I’d say the end scene on the helicopter was a little too dark) and especially the intricate scripted sequences and the weirdness of the hallucinations! I couldn’t guess what was going to happen next, which is awesome.

I recognized parts of the map that were meant to represent some areas of blue shift, like that beginning torching area. The entire map depicts the soldiers being badly beaten not by aliens, but by a random secruity guard. Terrifying. Of course you cant go wrong with life's end style hallucinations

thanks guys. When you play Power Struggle in Blue Shift you mow down tons of soldiers as a single security guard so it was fun to try and depict that from a soldiers point of a view. There were some other cameo bits like the tunnel you run down was an inaccessible area in Blue Shift but maybe they were easy to miss!
