k thanks...ya i just threw the ladder texture on it because i didn't feel like putting the ladder texture on the brush and tieing it to a func_wall at the time. And if the prisoner tag is on will they attack when not in the cages?

ya sorry about the wads...i have been mapping for quit a while with counterstrike...so i have all those wads in hammer and i don't know which textures go with which mod...so if you have steam or just counterstrike you could get the wads you need from there.

i read on a tutorial taht tha aiscripted_sequences were better because they could not be interupted

I have two suggestions...first of all i woould put a clip brush on the top because people like to mess around with gravity and you don't want to be able to get out of it...second I would set the teleport destinations so they are facing across the room not facing where they just came out of. that way it is less confusing and gameplay will be better. Like they just keep walking...not like they are being teleported. I gave this a 2 for mapping since it is very plain but a 4 for gameplay and fun. So i rated it a 3

there are a lot of sliding doors to make you go into the correct teleport. Personly i think teleports are more usful, easier to use then useing multiple triggers for all the doors, but that is your opinion so thanks for the advice. Just so you know you only enter into the tournament through a teleport pretty much. Then doors slide open when you press a button to go onto the next round. I havn't been able to play this with other people...that is why I want the ip of a server that someone is going to put it on!

thanks...i have certain people like certain maps. I have found that maps do not necesarily need to be complicated and big to be fun. Sometimes the most fun maps for me are just things like aim maps. Although this map was very complicated to make. I was inspired to make this map when I got frustrated from being teamed up on by people when knifing.

I have succesfully made a boat on water...all i did was put the origin on the ocean/lake floor instead of as part of the boat. Just put the origin just above the floor and each times the boat resets it will be on top. I also believe that func_tracktrain requires user controles but func_train does not need it. Just use func_train
