For me it starts in October. I quit the idea of going to Automatics&Computers and instead I'm going to Electronic Engineering and Telecomunications. Should be fun.

What an asshole. That's the most shitty tutorial I've ever seen.
LOL JK, I LIKED IT!
Well, I applaude you. Didn't expect you would do a tutorial on texturing, I really thought you felt pushed a bit. But then you have to also find out that the method you are teaching is for customized textures that only fit specific brushwork. Whenever I tried making a texture I was thinking about making it as universal as possible, your intentions in this respects were clueless. In any case, it's an admirable effort coming from you.

There's too much contrast between the milky drops and the blue ones, or they're too bright. Hurts my eyes... [EDIT] Also, about the forum, you imported the old member database, right? I don't understand, why was the old design bad?

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I was searching for cs_assault and couldn't find it. For some reason I really enjoyed that map, even though Terrorists were in a terrible advantage. But this is just the beta, so I'm hoping they'll release more vintage maps.

In my computer, everything has changed besides the case and the motherboard. The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-965P-S3, bought in 2007. It was around 120$ at the time I think. I had to upgrade the BIOS in 2010 when I bought a newer CPU( my old CPU was a Intel Pentium D 3.2 ghz, and the new one is an Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 2.9 ghz). It worked flawlessly. The conclusion is that more expensive motherboards are more future proof.
Is this i7 you bought an Ivy Core?
[EDIT] Btw, my mobo has no "solid-capacitors", and I've yet to see any bloated one. Marketing...

Yeah, the link not only doesn't bring a download, it brings a woman with her arms covering tits. Somebody should correct this :). Too bad... I would have liked to see this map.

The meteorologist voice needs to be more convincing, making one's ear to be more alert. The Town Center voice seems more like a parody to AoE than a realistic attempt. It's too... nasal.
The voice acting at 00:10 struck me as being the best, and it's quite indistinguishable from your natural voice. Nice!

"All in all, it looks very promising. Despite certain... inconveniences (such as the above, or the lack of a certain bathroom installation of French origin) "
Wait, what do you mean by a French bathroom? (honest question)
"As a side note, I'd really like a Raspberry Pi for the trip. Portable and inexpensive, good to check mail and download photos to my portable hard drive. Sadly they are on mega back order. I'll probably end up going for a cheap netbook instead."
Holy shi- a TWHLer that is interested in the Raspberry PI! Awesome!
I think you are confused though. That thing isn't meant to be portable... at least to normal users(you'd have to hack some diy portable monitor for that). And you can only install Debian, archlinux... basically it's for enthusiasts, it's not going to make your life easy. You should get a tablet instead of that if you don't want to be a pack of nerves in your trip :P.

I was really close to a stupid accident like this a while ago. My dad just changed a tire on the car, but he got into a conversation with somebody as he put the screws. He somehow forgot to tighten them up. Well, hours later I took the car and went a few km with it. When coming back I could hear a strange noise coming from a tire. At one moment my steering wheel began to shake and I said it's enough to stop the car(hopefully I was almost home, after going downhill...). I called my dad, and when he came he noticed the screws were on the verge of falling off. I think I was lucky...

Nice! I never played that game, it seems so obscure and odd that it's so successful but so few people are talking about it. One of my friends recommended it but I never got to play it.

Well, there isn't really a theme, but the map doesn't make sense either: there's a bridge across a room with boxes on the floor, but there's no access down there. And the room to which the bridge leads is empty, serves no purpose.

Well, after seeing "Freeman's Mind", I don't think there's any point left to see yet another Half-Life gameplay video. And your half-life is not vanilla, it has a custom crowbar. Perhaps you were bored, I know I was when I made a HL2 video like this(only heavily edited).

Honestly, all this hat crap is a persistence in stupidity. If Valve was a person, I imagine him/her being a cynical one that says: "As long as there will be stupid people, I will be fucking rich". Aside from Valve and people like you(if they succeed), there's no fun in this.

"So yeah, had a fun time. Got soaked wet on the water rides. What kind of experiences have you guys had?"
I think 2 summers ago I went on the local river(that was big at the time and very fast) on a tractor camera(you know, not the actual tire, but the inside). In a section of the river with big, splashing waves, I fell off. The river basically shaved my ass with its stones.

Super nice! How much did the mouse cost? What is the size of the mouse relative to your palm and, does it feel comfortable? I have a Logitech MX518 since 2009, but it is a bit too big for my hand. The fact that I've been using it for 3 years despite my little struggle demonstrates that it's still a good mouse. I got very used to the 2 back and forward buttons on the side!

Haha, I did not expect you Archie not to like this kind of stuff. I assumed all northern people fall in love with these delicacies... Anyway, what's the problem with it that you hate t so much?
Should be fun.
Hope you'll feel alright man. Wish you a speedy recovery... if possible.

I seriously read that "PeePee".
Here's another one: Popinjay (although this is not really original).
