Woah, insane.
I've been pretty close to a huge bushfire once (from an exploded gas truck, no less), the smoke from it was pretty similiar to what you see in this shot:
Massive, just massive pillar of smoke that lurks over you ominously as you get closer and closer. The ash in those two car shots though isn't something I experienced, though, we passed by it at a fairly great distance. Things like these can be pretty exciting and scary at the same time.
But goodluck with your house, man. I couldn't imagine much more nerve-wracking than being forced out of your own home with a chance of losing it.

That's not exactly what I meant. I was talking about all the the shitty celebrity and popular culture references you see in movies like Shrek the Third. They're just awful and unfunny.
I know Wall-E has a number of subtle environmental messages and in true Pixar fashion is probably loaded with hidden nods to their previous films. Things of that sort I have no problem with.

Family-oriented or not, Pixar are still a level above all the other animation studios and their tiring social commentary. I mean come on, The Incredibles rocks! ;>
Looking forward to Wall-E, though we have to wait almost another two months for it. :/

This is strange, it feels MORE stable to me then whatever the last version is I was sitting on. The only problem I've had is the skin, but it took all of 2 minutes to swap out.
To be fair though, I barely use RSS feeds and I don't use Mail at all.
No.
MORE SPOILERS
Eckhart originally signed up for two films, and Two-Faces death was not perfectly certain, mull that over for a while.
END SPOILERS
Still haven't seen it though. :<
You get an exciting last month in your house under the gloom of bushfires!
So, the fires are still forcing you out afterall? Sucky situation indeed, but at least you have the time to gather your things.

But it was still bright and sunny out.

That's not bad.
If it were a Paris Hilton joke, however..

Madcow: Neo from The Matrix.
World Crafter: Haha, yes. Wanted looks terrible.
Good thing is I practically live in the desert so the chances of that happening are slim to zilch. :>
IRCing in a flood.. awesomely hardcore.
The other weapons.. not so much.
If it's old and shiny, it's win. If it's old and rusty, it's fail.
That car is old and shiny, therefor is win. Therefor you win, or something. I dunno.
Only one car has ever stood out to me - the Supra Mark III and it's not for any performance or cultural reasons.
Vroom vroom?
Who internets from work, honestly? >_>
