I freaking honestly hate companies like this, there was discussion about this in the past in the forum. The way he talks just makes it sound like utter bullsh*t.
Ok now that im done with the hate, i somehow still fail to see that this can be possible, i mean its been 3 years they basically told you how it works and nobody not even John Carmack (shame he left Id) or any other big engine developer had even touched it. Until they have something to show me im gonna stick with my first assumption that this is a scam.
And for god sakes if they call it "Unlimited" again im gonna explode.

Shit is only not shot shit when your ass is on fire, war and other crap. Since US is the furthest country from any engagement and sends troops to fight for fun i would honestly really respect someone who could level them with the rest of us, few good nukes otta do it.
As much as i love US and all, but they need to be put in their place.

From the eye's of an outsider (me) 'Murica look like its hammering down hard on civilians to keep its authority as the "Best country" in the world, NSA and all that. Im not sure how England is, but politicians where i live are pretty much showbiz people that are there to protect interest in the companies they own or are affiliated with. Ordinary people don't get hurt much at least in terms of cyberspace, no NSA or whatnot, but that all can change.
I will add lighting to it for an atmospheric feel and not to have full bright models everywhere, layout seems quite small when you give the map a go so there is some expanding to be done.
Also most of the 32 unit cubes are missing since i thought i will add them later so don't fall between the cracks

Ive heard its ok, the negative hype comes from the fact that its bittorrent. I don't use anything right now apart from copy paste, but if i did it would probably be ftp mapped folders and something like Synkron or Unison, maybe even rsync depends if i need it.

Maybe someday, panels would probably be stolen from the roof after a while, its a flat building after all
Its sort of a hobby at this point, i work as a systems admin so i touch these kind of machines on a daily basis, i apply what i learn at work there and what i learn from it at work, you could say its like a test environment, but all of it is in production. I can obviously rent a server, but i want to have something myself in the long run rather than throwing money at a hosting company and getting nothing back. I do this because power is basically free there (amounts to 1$ per month), the running costs are lower than the cheapest dedicated server i could rent.

Probably would be more interesting in source with grav gun and moving things around. And an advanced headcrab A.I. which could send crabs hiding say when a player is getting closer.
Would be fun to see players tearing open a place to find crabs

@Stojke: As with any basement there is dust, but not that much that the machines would need cleaning everytime i visit it. As far as humidity goes did not experience any, the room is warm during winter and summer so that dries all the air out, i have more of a cooling problem then a wet problem If i could id just put those annoying "screamer" server fans on all of them and be done with it, but i don't want to attract any unwanted guests, since technically the whole building is paying for the electricity this uses and i don't think people would be happy about it. I rigged silent fans in all of them to keep them quiet.
I can use it for anything i want, im now running some cs servers, one box runs http://rufee.eu and all the secret web services inside and one runs a cs server i use for occasional 5x5 with a management bot i wrote myself.
Planning to turn one into a VMware server for more flexibility, once i test out some RAID setups. Right now the boxes are running WinXP, Win Server 2012 R2 and Debian linux.

I heard they are planning to increase the limit to 4mb and 2 screens on TWHL4 I use my own servers to host files that i need on the net, if i had enough storage i could enable others to use it as well. But 80gb drives would fill up quite quick
But yeah the limit needs a boost, you can't upload a source map anymore

I got a job in IT purely from knowing people. I am in school for it as well, but i can say i learned more from the job in the last month than i have going to uni. But yeah, not every one knows a lot of folk.
I was hoping for Duke or Blood, we want to hear them too
However life will, usually the hard way.

Not really sure how to continue from here, i was inspired by this https://muttonbasher.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/lun3dm5_1.jpg

If you don't mind me asking i wonder how was the sound, was there a deafening explosion or just the initial high voltage type of crack ?

@Stojke: Not much, its more read rather then write and whatever the Linux kernel pagefile uses.
