Woo, finally members of TWHL getting their hands dirty with ACTUAL METAL WORK, no matter how nerdy it may be. You made my day. Also, you might get more accurate results from something like electric shears, although rotary tools are more diverse. Lemme tell you, cutting that much material with a Dremel is a mighty tedious job.

Tito: It certainly makes more sense to put the processor in first, but as with most things, there's more than one way to do it. The processor will go in fine with the motherboard already installed, but he'll need to take his pretty heatsink off again, which is a bitch to do even with the motherboard outside the case. It's probably going to be a huge hassle.

I think if I was older than 5 or 6 and my dad was still filming every second of my life I'd probably start to get really pissed off at him. Make sure you aren't overdoing it.

Hotdog, that doesn't sound tedious at all, in fact it sounds easier than California's program. Are you saying they never even test your driving in real life, just on computer simulations? That is madness.

Did he die there on camera at the end? He's just like laying there talking to people with his torso cut off, it's kind of amazing if you think about it. It didn't even seem like he was bleeding that much.
If you Google search for "man cut in half" there's this story of a guy cut in half in 1995 who lived and is walking around with an egglike apparatus on his lower torso. I think it might be the same guy.
ATDestroy: It's a very busy road there, and don't you hate it when every asshole on the freeway slows down to stare at some car wreck? I think they're being kind of respectful.

Striker, while the guy in the avatar is not me, he could have easily passed as me a while back when I still had my long hair. He plays the character of Chance in this obscure artsy film, Kill the Moonlight. The strange likeness was one of the reasons I used him.

A blog, you say? What did I tell you, this place really is turning into the Myspace of mapping sites! Penguinboy, if you're listening, prepare the Friends List, 'cause soon we're gonna need it.
As for your incredibly deep, mostly unanswerable musings, I wish I could give you some helpful insight or something, but I don't think most people have experienced the same life-altering stuff you've been through yourself, so only you could truly know. Sounds like a bad series of LOST flashbacks to be honest. DESTINY AWAITS...
I know if I was in your situation I would probably turn to religion for answers as well. However, this aside, I think I would try to actually focus on being alive rather than questioning why it was the case. You only have one life to live, and if you happen to believe in master plans and whatnot, I'd trust that it'll play out the way it's supposed to instead of constantly dwelling on the WHY of everything

Also, you can legally buy alcohol anywhere in the U.S., if you could ever find a reason to come here. Not that it stops anybody from getting it. Strangely, you could already have legally killed yourself in a dozen other ways since your 18th birthday, they're just saving the best for last.

Deathan, that's not fair at all, my first map was made when I was 12 and I'd never even figured out how to compile maps by then, so it eventually got lost with a bunch of other stuff. First maps are supposed to suck.

SomeNoob, I don't think that works in Half-Life at least, because I think when I tried that the gun just acted infinitely active, and wouldn't shut off when the grunt was killed. I think what you're describing is just a regular turret with a grunt standing beside it.
This is not technically EVERYTHING you need to know about decals. If you were going to attempt to create your own, you would also need to know that they can only be different shades of a single color, and that the last color in the palette defines what that single color is.

I just don't think I could stand watching a movie with G.I Joe in the title, no matter how good it is. Same with Transformers. I don't get how children's plastic toys can somehow turn into movies we're supposed to take seriously.
Top that, I dare you.
Oh. Sorry it's so shocking to you, but I've heard of much worse. I guess these things don't really get to me any more.
I don't know why, but "addictive games" always fail to addict me even a little. Maybe because I know I have more interesting stuff to do.
And Azure Sheep's mapping SUCKS. What a load of noob-crap that mod was. It's nowhere close to a retail product of any sort.
