you need to use cycler_sprite to import the model. Yes, it is for sprites, but you still can use it to import a model. Newer versions of the engine have dedicated one for models called cycler.

yes, it is a bit difficult because you HAVE to use the palette of the game. Photoshop is probably not the best tool for that. You will have to guess which color from photoshop palette to use in order to get red color in the HL palette. As you can see from my screenshots, I did it, so there's no raeson you can't

Yeah, you are right, I was planning to put a dozer in the middle, but did not get the model for the moment. Also I've tried to make a deathmatch version of this map, ans CTs seem to loose very fast. Need to do something about that.
The only sound I've added so far -- try to crawl far enough into the tube in the ditch. I will think adding some ambient when I finish. About the ditch - yes, I need to make it more realistic

Following your kind remarks and my considerations, I've done the following.
- added ambient sounds and sound enironment types
- added some possibilities to cross the ditch in teh middle
- added a breakable lamp in the T's building
- added a shootable barrel in the T's building
- some ornamental job like dirty water runs on the wall, concrete cracks, some mud on the wall, and numbers printed on the crates.
- made crates/planks sound "woodsy" and pipes/barrels sound "metallic" when you shoot them.
