What a sihtty run up to Christmas.

Ok, so in an attempt to not spend Christmas with just the two of us, my aunt wanted to join up with her friend and his family for Christmas, something I had no complaints about. The more the merrier right?

So, with record snowfalls here in the Vancouver district, we attempted to get out of the drive, onto the puny little side-street clogged with snow. Despite furious amounts of shovelling, pushing and help from one of our neighbours, the car managed to get snowed in RIGHT OUTSIDE OF THE DRIVE.

Fortunately, this story does have a somewhat good ending. Our landlord, who also had plans, couldn't get out for the same reason. So we're spending Christmas together, and my aunts friend will be driving down to meet us instead (eventually).

The moral of the story? Don't have half-cooked Pancakes for Breakfast, they give you the worst gas ever. I mean, seriously I couldn't stop farting.

And also, MERRY CHRISTMAS!...

Today I watched The Mist. It wasn't too bad, although the ending was pretty good. Poor guy.

Yay! It's snowing! I've never had a proper white christmas before, never any snow, so this is a real treat for me.

I suppose in a few years time I'll be bitter when it comes, but till then!

Well, tonight ought to be interesting.

For those in the Vancouver area, you may already know of a nasty storm thats hitting as I type this. Oddly enough, there seems to be no signs of a 'storm' from what I can see from my window, but the flickering of lights in the house every 10 minutes is suggesting something going down.

Hopefully the power won't go out. The worst way to spend a Friday night is with no power. No TV, no Computer, no nothing.

10th birthday of Half-life, and the following franchise that made Valve what it is. Hurrah for good games!

Oh man, Today was a good day at College. Everyone dressed up for Halloween, with some people impersonating famous figures, random dressups, historical costumes, and, in the case of one teacher, a pokemon (he had alot of balls to pull that one off).

My favorite by far was one of those hobo signs someone had around their neck, and it said:

"Family kidnapped by ninjas, need $4 for karate lessons"

Best. Sign. EVAR!

Also, does anyone have Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance? I want to try to play a multiplayer game with someone who doesn't own me in 5 minutes.

Finally, happy Halloween!

Whoa has it been a long time. Several months I've been gone for. I almost forgot my password!

Nothing much has happened up until now, where I decided to go live with my aunt in Canada because my uncle is an evil manipulative old git who should crawl under a rock and die.

Happy times :)

I've been receiving my first gifts through the mail: money! Unfortunately, with my pockets empty it seems I'm going to have spend most of it on buying people stuff they want for christmas, as well as chipping in on my bit for a big party I'm having with my friends on new years eve.

On other news, I've pretty much forgotten about my xbox. Instead, the Orange box now fills my entertainment needs. It's even collected dust!

Well, I don't know if I'm going to be around for christmas, with one thing and another looming, but if I'm not here let me just say this.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

Almost forgot to add this link. It's a little thing you might be interested in or not. Doubt anyone will, but I thought I might as well present my finding.

P.S Did someone just put a cat on the TWHL logo?

I guess its time for an update, as the 5th of September is hardly new news.

Anyway, Most of my troubles are coming from my lack of money to buy people in my family presents. And whilst I only have 2 people left, my total amount of cash remains at an abysmal amount of ?7. A far cry from the ?40 I need to fulfill the wish list this christmas.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the postage for my 2 gifts to my aunt and sister in Canada cost more then the actual gifts themselves, setting me back several more pounds then needed. Something that I didn't need.

The good news is I received a money order from my aunt for ?50. The bad news is that it'll probably have to go right back into buying presents and cards for everyone else.

Well, that was quite a holiday. Going to school whilst jet lagged Isn't an enjoyable experience. I've managed to stick to normal sleeping hours thus far (with the help of my companion the alarm clock and a hyper dog). I suspect that by the time I reach the weekend I'll be so tired I'll sleep all the way through it! Or at least thats what my uncle claims will happen to me.

Anyway, what happened in Canada? Not much, three weeks and I can only name four major events. Going to Grosse mountain (I think that is how it is spelt), going to some place called Sheriden lake (no power boats or any working motors so no water sports, just rowing, which got boring 4 days into the week stay at the lake) It go so boring there that the only fun thing to do was to make water balloons and pelt them at other people, not that it lasted for long.

After that, We went to the PNE (Pacific something Exhibition) Which was the best day there, we managed to get there on opening day so we got free entry. I managed to go onto most of the rides, including a rickety wooden roller coaster which at the end I felt like I'd broken my neck and some other ride kinda like a twister, but going up and down and spinning the cars vertically as well, which made me want to throw up.

And then finally went to a town called Oosoyoos which was very fun. Even if all we did was lounge around and talk to some friends my aunts' fiance had. One of them was veeery funny.

So, that just about wraps it up for me.

Here I am in Canada again. I'll spare you the details but I'v got the choice of either living with my uncle in the UK or with my aunt in Canada. After a three week stay I'll have to decide where I live.

I'd say more, but I'm jet lagged and rather tired still.

Went to Glastonbury festival yet again this year. And whilst the mud had reached levels where they had lakes with their own tide times and everything, the attractions were most certainly not substandard.

For the most part, I just wondered around from tent to tent (finishing off with Shirley Bassy at the pyramid stage).

And despite the amount of police at the site, people were dealing in drugs, namely pot. One tent (which was some political debate about social justice, housing crisis and all that stuff) had an sweet aroma to which my uncle pointed out that people were smoking MJ. Didn't take me long to count 10 spliffs in various peoples hands.

And finally, someone decided to brave the mud in bare feet, of all the things. And there were even people taking pictures of it!

I'm feeling a bit stupid at the moment. I've played TTD more then my 360, I'm hardly using it now. Feels like it was a waste of money because of that.

Anyway, it's a nice warm day today, just like any other day. Apparently, this is the hotest spring we've had so far, which is being taken as yet another sign of global warming.

I watched one documentary on global warming not too long ago, when i was flicking through the sky channels at random. Even if we didn't have all this pollution that we're generating, we could still be going through global warming since much more sharper rises in temperature then ours have happened in the past before humans were even around. Makes you wonder if this problem is solely us, or natural and we're just aiding it.

The only i thing i can think to write of now is the channel 4 issue over Diana's death. If you don't know, channel 4 are planning to release a documentary that uses images of the late princess at the crash scene. And, rather typically, everyone is crying over nothing.

It'd odd how everyone doesn't mind seeing people die in the news and images of death of whomever. But when it comes to someone famous, rich or important, everyone has to through up a fuss. Besides, it's not like Diana has done anything special. Sure, a little charity work but who hasn't done that right? The only thing the royal family is good for now is being a tourist attraction. One that we blow millions on to keep around.

But hey, The world isn't supposed to be fair, is it?
