I just posted this on the BMS forum, but I think it's worth bringing up.
What is with the Gordon Freeman vs. Adrian Shephard debates. People who say they are a fan of Shephard's character and would like to see him return... what!? What fucking character? He's a mute protagonist, just like freeman. The only thing that differentiates the 2 in game is their gloves.

Anyone tried out the Sniper Elite V2 demo yet? The games promotion has been focused on the brutal kill cams you get for good shots. Full anatomical modelling of enemies combined with realistic bullet simulation etc.
Anyway, here's me playing through the demo with a commentary of my thoughts over the job, in case you haven't tried it or even heard of it yet.
I've tried to keep it interesting and skipped some of the wandering around parts.

I like making videos, mostly blogs on the main snc channel and goofing around in games on the games channel.
I'm aware however that my blogs consist of me moaning about life which few people would be interested in. I'll be doing another one tonight but I'm considering piling in comedy stuff wherever I can.
I read somewhere that if you need to ask how to make a good video then you're not doing it right, which I fully understand. However, from a vlog point of view, what WOULD you guys like to watch? Do you even like vlogs or should I try and focus more on video game related stuff?
Anyway, any responses before around 7pm GMT will be greatly appreciated and will probably be mentioned in the video tonight... should you watch it I mean...

You know what's not good for headaches and nausea? Staring at code on a 21" screen for 9 hours... I'm staying in bed today. Phone is giving me a headache now too.
Why do I do this to myself?
I woke up this morning, quite obviously ill. I got up, forced down some breakfast, drove the hour long trip to work and sat here in front of a screen all morning. Just forced down some more food for lunch and I am feeling considerably worse.

Working away on a website at work when suddenly the office is filled with deafeningly loud drumming. Then horns. "WHAT THE FFFFUUUU-!!?"
You see, my office is located in the town square, where they tend to hold events. I checked a local news site.

I'm confused.
I rarely sleep for long periods of time, especially at the weekend. In the week I can quite happily stay up til 2am and get up when the alarm goes off at 6:30. On Friday I will usually not go to sleep until around 4am, getting up with the alarm at 6am. While I don't have much energy I am perfectly capable of driving and stuff like that.
Now, this weekend, I've had 2 (relatively) early nights. Saturday night I was in bed at half-past midnight until 8am and Sunday night I went to bed at 11ish and woke up BEFORE my alarm at around 6am. If I wake up prior to alarm, that to me says that I've gotten plenty of rest.
Why is it then that today I feel drained and nauseous!?

Another terrible mod play through for you all. As requested, I played through MCPOKER again. It was worse than I remember and it is now gone from my hard drive forever.

So I played through a mod called The Night Things. I chose that mod because it had a pretty low rating on Planet Phillip and I thought it might be entertaining to do a video playthrough with commentary after last weeks live playthrough had a total viewer count of 1 person.
