I just reinstalled windows on my grandparents computer and installed the modem driver do I'm all set up to download hammer and become independent of my family's computer! This means that I will be using the computer, creating HL maps, and updating my website more than ever! MOHAHAHAHAHA!

I have taken about a dozen of my pictures into a .wad file and it works in Half-Life. I haven't started making the actaul maps yet because I have to get the measurements of the classroom and hallways. The highschool mostly has 1ft. by 1ft. floor tiling though, so it should be pretty easy.

I am planning to take my digital camera to high school tomarrow. It was all I thought about the whole day! I was just looking at the flr, wall, and ceiling textures constantly! I want to make a map out my high school. The tricky part will be the outside. I don't plan to let the player outside, but you can still see it. I think maybe I'll just map about 30 feet out, then use custom env images.

You might have read something about me wanting to create my own mod called Reaction Time. I have decided to delay creation of this mod because I realized that it really isn't a good idea to try to create a full-blown mod when your as new to mapping as I am. I will continue to create some HL maps, but I want to wait until I have a computer of my own and Half-Life platinum 2, instead of this outdated version. Thanks!

While on vacation, I traveled through the Atlanta airport, a major Delta hub, and I found the architecture very internesting. Specifically the atrium and the subway system. I am thinking about making an airport in Hammer, or at least a building with similar architecture or the subway. Similar to the transit system in Half-Life, except at much higher speeds and in small tunnels. Maybe the normal walkway collapsed and you have to get into the transit tunnels via a vent or maintenance door. Ever play Decent 3? If you have, you may remember the high speed train system. Maybe something like that.

Sorry I havn't been active for a while. I was on vacation for 11 days, starting about 3 days after I got home from camp. I'm back!

I am finally back from camp until next year! I will miss it though. Not as much as I missed TWHL, however!

I am back from Camp for a one full day starting tomarrow, and then it's back for another week.

I'm here at Camp, but as it turns out, as Staff I have access ti the internet but I still can't create/run HL maps. Sorry.

I'm leaving for two weeks to go to Boy Scout camp. I will be back on Saturday night, but I go back in the morning. Just thought I'd let you all know.

I am in the process of making a mod called Reaction Time. I have a parking lot made, but it's not done yet. I am going to be working on the transit system that leads underground for a while so keep a look out. I still consider myself a newbie to making HL maps, so please bear with me.
