Im thinking about writing a complete easy to understand tutorial on normal mapping (bump mapping next gen) reflective materials, reflective masking, reflective masking on a normal map, and using a blend texture with one normal mapped material, and one regular material to get really cool blend effects similar to Lost Coast and Episode 2.
