Not sure many people are interested, but yesterday evening I finally picked up a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour.
What's amazing is not that i spent $200 buying it, but that no store in the nearest 3 towns had a copy, except the GameStop, which had but 1 copy left.
Otherwise, the gameplay is completely revamped and very unique compared to any of the Rockband and Guitar Hero games I've played in the past. I must also say beating on rubber drums while watching a TV screen proves to be enjoyable...
I'm probably not getting World Tour, but I am buying Rock Band 2 since you can port all old songs from Rock band 1 to Rock band 2, and the old instruments are still supported, but I'm still getting that new awesome guitar ;O
Fuck europe.
spose guitar hero is for those who cant play a real one
RB = 4 Toms
WT = 3 Toms, 2 Cymbals.
Drums = Fun as hell.
Only thing that I think could use a bit of work is the setlist....
Willie Nelson's On the Road Again? and La Bamba...
I dunno...
4 Toms, 2 Cymbals (which in fact represent 2 of the toms but still I guess they work as the solo buttons on the guitar or something) and DRUM SOLOS!
Awesome.
Oh and they are made out of a new bouncy material which is quite sexy.
2 Cymbals are separate. You have to buy them, separately.
Although there is a completely separate set of drums that doesn't even come with the game, but you can buy for ONLY $300... that has the cymbals with it...
As for drum solos, that's a matter of the song you're playing. Unless you're talking about the free-form drum fills, which Guitar Hero has too.
