Had a look at the HD trailer some time ago, really unique looking film. Hope that dude who made Wanted doesn't have much influence, though. D:

Let me clarify:
Shane Acker directed the new film.
Tim Burton is the producer, he didn't steal anything! The original creator is doing it all! Woohoo!

That district 9 cracks me up for a couple of reasons. First, that insect like alien they show on the trailer, it is almost identical to this other alien called the Xindi that was shown a few times on the last Star Trek TV series called "Enterprise". The other funny thing is, some of those people posting their comments on YouTube for this trailer, are somehow connecting the district 9 movie to the Halo game.

Way back people said they were ripping off Little Big Planet with the sackboy concept. How sad to think that.
