Haha, that's true Soup. I guess the law isn't the same everywhere. In Australia, if a car rear-ends another, the one driving behind the other is responsible no matter what. However, in your case, the other guys is just totaly screwed no matter what...

Man that sucks, hope all goes well with the payments.
My mate rear ended someone the other day, because the car 2 cars ahead slammed on the brakes and almost caused a massive pileup.
Didn't even damage the car ahead of him. Some tradesman's Ford ute, but the front bar, rad support bar, and bonnet of my mate's 200sx are screwed. Remarkably, the headlights and front quarter panels are fine.

We almost got rear ended by a lorry on the motorway the other day because somebody a few cars ahead was driving at walking pace. Luckily the lorry driver was paying attention.

yay a year and 6 months till i drive, but then again, the roads in AZ are horrible, we have tons of accidents a day, and a fatality once per 2-3 month spans.
Sorry to hear that this happened, but at least you get to enjoy emptying the guy's pockets.

If someone can't get a licence, then that's a good indicator.
I parked the car and got out right away, because I was afraid that the driver was going to drive away.
