Scouring out my emails, I came across this gem when I realised I still wanted proof I got my youtube fix almost 8 years ago.
I posted this on a video of the demolition of a couple cooling towers at a nearby decommissioned NPP.
I shouldn't have been allowed on the internet. How the fuck did you guys put up with me for 3 years before that?
/irony
The only reason I have to want to look back at my dark past is to see whether I was as grammar-proper as I seem to remember. I probably wasn't.
We all have our regrets regarding our early, multiple shitposts to online communities; don't let anyone tell you differently
This is why we should all give new users some slack learning the way of things, though I know it can be tough(and painful) remembering we were the same way once.
Looks to me you weren't that bad. The fact is that a lot of people joined this site in their early teen years. I also was on other forums and I grew up with some of them immediately after my first connection to the internet. But I adapted and learned to communicate.
dotdotdotdotdotdot years...
Nah I know everybody had their idiotic 12 year old "hurdur" years on the internet, it's just funny to look back on them and think "jesus was I really that bad?".
Just goes to show how much you've matured I guess
And I never understood why would ANYONE change Windows to Comic Sans.
I believe it was this.
Surprisingly not embarrassing, although some of my posts I found along the way certainly were.
Also, looking through the old threads I found this.*
I find myself wondering whether such a thread nowadays would have the same reaction.
*NSFW since one of the three images in that thread that still even loads is NSFW
