Hammer for HL2 is great! A couple of odd bugs here and then, but for the most part its as functional as Hammer 3.5 and even more so.

It... just sucks..
too many entities, and ladders dont work. PLUS my dell sucks and isnt upgradeable so im stuck in the mud.
I can't wait til i get my Alienware..
BAH anyway its nto fair nobody is helping with my mod that im making. Im about to give up but i dont want to. It has Great potential. If only someone will help..

I have hit a big damn writers block on this map.....I hate when that happens, quite the set back.....I think it will be knocked down sooner than later though, so all is well....I got the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the quaters finished.....looks pretty good. The wallas are still pretty plain, and that sucks...have to figure something out for them. I was really upset about my dining room painting not wanting to work...I have to figure that out, its key to that room....more to come.....
My mom's off to Thailand tomorrow, Seems like a stupid idea to me but hey, She gave me 1500 SEK (about 230$) and I have the house to myself for the next 2 weeks....

Finally solved my computer problem. It turns out that Kingston PC3200 memory is incompatible with my ASUS A7N8E-Deluxe motherboard.
It took me a month to figure that out. I was convinced that it was a problem with Radeon 9800 Pro.
I had to reset the FSB speed from 200 MHz to 166 MHz, but at least Half-Life 2 and Far Cry are running without a glitch now. I can't really notice any performance difference. So I am pretty happy now.

Looking a little better now: the light_env has been tweaked to give that nice orangy glow, the sunbeams have been moved to their new home, the problematic sun has been deleted, the spotlights are running perfectly, the arch models are in their place, overlays for the left hand wall have been applied to great effect.
Still have a load of stuff to do, including tweaking the draw distances of the prop models, fixing the skybox, fixing the right hand side wall, add all the cubemaps, make some pylons and a whole bunch of other stuff.

For those that don't know:
A new substance mod upgrade has been released for HL2 with all new weapons from css as well
And my personnal favourite is the new Strider Mod which lets you drive Striders, APC's and Helicopters online
Sadly I have not mapped in 2 days and if I don't soon I am going to go nuts
It is my friends birthday today and he said he had a great time although he didn't do anything for his party which was a shame
I gave him some money though He say's he got Splinter Cell 3, Lucky Bugger grrrrr.
Finally I guess umm well de_boshi is the first CSS map that I am happy with so it may go somewhere provided I don't give up and plan as well as take my time
P.S. These talking to myself notes of de_boshi are there to motavate me in the future so don't mock me
