plus when i got it working (reinstalled all) the mdl.files hadn't changed but they where diffrent in game...the high defition pack is in (is actually) pak1.pak in your valve directory.

Well, creating a real "forest" in half-life, with actual trees and ... stuff, would be pretty much impossible. HL is a 6 year old engine, it cnat render that much at the same time.
