The new map file isn't overwriting the old one in the HL directory. Possible causes, in order of likelihood: compile error, bad setup, Windows problem.

massively lame
Not half as bad as your thread-naming skills.

As for the actual problem, your landmarks, etc., don't match up. They need to be in exactly the same positions relative to their close surroundings. It's conventional to just copy the end of one level identically and make it the entrance to the next.

Hi, Skeeve, too!

Not quite sure what you mean about the instructions, UB. I managed to get along it all eventually, anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

J3r3my: yours was very nice in parts, and pretty basic in other bits. I mean, the general architecture was just... blocky, but the cubes were really nice. <style="trite">Remember, practice makes perfect, folks.</style>

It'll just trigger the entity. Use an env_render to make it invisible, and another completely seperate one to make it visible again. env_render's aren't togglable, they just take effect whenever fired.

Read the competition rules. They tell you.

The Source maps were discarded immediately.

VOX, yours had some nice detail on the windows, etc., but it was a bit... plain overall. The G-men were nice, but it was too dark to see 'em properly. You shoulda made it lighter and smaller, and put more stuff in it (some stained glass with volumetric light, etc.).
