air rifles pwn, not shit airsoft with crappy plastic bullets. paintball is fun, but not accurate enough for me, to random and lucky to hit. also, not powerful enough. Nothing beats hitting a small bird at 50m + with a .22 12ft/lb rifle using a 32x8 hawke midot scope!!!

yeah, i have about 250 planes, and bout 100 scenery items.
yeah, why the hell was it realeased of CDS!!!! its so annoying having to change disks every time you install (i a speed freak, ie, regular formatting and reinstalling)
nah, idea of logging on, etc, is just too much!! my mum uses something called Pro Desktop Calendar or something that is always on your desktop and is live - really customizable and low on resources - however, once again, she resorts to good 'ole pen & paper!

have you followed setting up guide in tutorials, and double-checked all paths, etc. also, does it compile without vis & rad?

WAT! if you compare the screenys to that of FS2004, the difference is massive! fs2004 just used random ground mapping, this looks like real photo mapping - and if your complaining about resolution - imagine the size of the game if the textures where 512x512! 
your using hammers tools, right? thats asking for trouble from the beginning. are you compiling in expert or beginner mode, and have you tried asking it to place compiled maps in a different location?
yeah, im pretty addicted to sims, although you need a good computer to be able to enjoy the graphics. I usually play FS2004 on 3/4 graphics, and get bout 40fps, but any higher graphics and you get lag... and like rps, thats the last thing you want when bout to land on a 2foot runaway in crosswinds!!!

For those of you who have an interest in computer simulators, check out these screenys of upcoming FS. Some serious pwnage! This is gonna be one hell of a game - apparently improved by having Vista?! strange! but anyway, just wondered if any1's into sims, car, train, etc, etc, coz this game is using same sort of technology for ground maps, etc, so more highly detailed, and WAY more relistic.
especially look at the one of a town near the bottom / middle. Looks like a real developed town!

well, i live in england, so i kinda new... you don't really have a chance of not knowing when you do history (i dont btw!) the really sick thing, is you could have this done to you for petty things, such as stealing bread, money, rape, etc. ok, so maybe rape doesn't quite fit into that catagory, but, heh....
aint it kinda similiar to test chamber compo? also, I could see this taking a lot of time out of my already not-busy life!

However, if your maps are likely to be a LOT less complex - then it could be OK, its just down to how long it takes your maps to load - hopefully far shorter. Otherwise, no, its not worth mapping for HL2, you will kill yourself - end of story!
