It happened yesterday morning.

As you can see the driver side (mine) got the brunt of it. Smashed my ribs into the steering column and today I'm all tensed up. Lung full of smoke. Nothing broken.

Fiance hurt her leg.

Just a story line so far.
Watch this space.

Kinetix

Chapter 1
Kinetic Genetics
When you live in a tube there is very little you can do with your time. You can watch the scientists that created you come and go while making all sorts of notes on you, you can even swim around in the preservative purple plasma they keep you in but most of the time all you can do is just float there and wait. Either they will release you after they become bored with you or they will continue to run tests on you until you are worn out and useless. Then they dispose of you accordingly.
I know this because this is the exact description of my existence. When I first became aware of my conciousness I didn't know what I was. I remember looking around the room which was severely refracted by the plasma in which I was floating. I remember turning my 'head' and examining my glass prison. I remember moving my limbs for the first time. I looked down at my withered body and was rather disappointed with what I saw. I was a hideous, undernourished alien of some sort. I had no idea of my origins, my history or even my name. However in my primitive days I heard one research assistant use the word 'Kinetix' while writing a report on my reaction to electrocution. As painful as that test was that word 'Kinetix' stuck in my mind and was basically my first memory I guess. So that is what I have been calling myself.
As time went on so did the tests. However my minds capacity was expanding at an alarming rate. Whether this was part of their plan or just my natural growth I don't know. What I do know is that they had no idea what powers were growing within my cranium. To be honest neither did I. I didn't have the slightest clue. But I do remember the first time I made something happen. I have had many thoughts since my 'birth' but never had I thought of something that would be considered evil. However that seems to be all that happens. I can think up ways to make the scientists work faster and allow me to be free and even ways to make the lab a nicer place to work. Nice thoughts with no effects.
Then three nights ago I remember thinking the lights were too bright in my chamber. I remember thinking to myself 'That light is too bright.' I wanted to sleep but the light was to bright. Then within a few hours the light was so bright that it sapped the power from the others in my little. This meant that there was now one really bright light in one corner and three others flickering all around me. I knew the light was close to burning itself out as it grew brighter still and then I cracked. In my head I could hear a young female voice screaming. I don't know if it was my own interpretation of what I sound like but it was fantastic. Suddenly the screaming stopped and the voice began to whisper.
?Just break.?
With that every light in my lab shattered in a fascinating display of fragments and blue bolts of electricity. I don't know if it was my own doing or not but either way it was in my favour and I was grateful. The next morning after the electricians had come and gone I decided to try out my ability again. The same research assistant who had given me my name entered the lab holding a rather unpleasant looking probe. I decided I had had enough of the tests and experiments. As the scientist started tapping in the relevant data before coming over to torture me again I heard the screaming and the same voice whispered again.
?Overload.?
With that the console burst into flames and the research assistant was thrown backwards at great speed. He crashed into and subsequently through the plaster wall into the next room. 2 security officers ran in to see what all the noise was. There was blood everywhere and although I felt bad for killing the one human who had given me something of value it was great to see there faces fill with uncontrollable fear. They readied their weapons and aimed for my tube. I wasn't ready to receive a bullet to my ever powerful brain so again the screaming came and went and the girls voice filled my head once more.
?Collapse.?
The roof above the guards caved in and its tremendous weight caused their bodies to burst on impact. I watched as their bodily fluids splattered almost everything in my chamber and a smile crept across my so called mouth. Was I going insane? Perhaps. However I had been pushed to my limits and beyond. However I had not considered the consequences of my mental actions. If the human race feel threatened they tend to either kill it or run from it. Since they were unable to kill me they did the next best thing. I watched as the reinforced security doors shut behind the rubble and my chamber was dark again. Even though I could tear the doors apart with my mind I would still just be a feeble alien trapped in a tube of preservatives. I started to look around at the mess I had made.
The hole in the wall led through to a security office. I could just see a security monitor on the wall cycling through several cameras inside this sector of the facility. One of the pictures showed a single security officer asleep in break room. Then I thought of something. If I could control one of the humans I could escape this hideous shell that my incredible mind is encased in. I would be able to see the rest of the facility through someone else's eyes. However my evil thoughts burst through all of that. If I could use a human host to explore the facility I could also use them to destroy it from the inside out.

in Voices in interloper Post #166235
One of the scientist voices coming from the portal says "Get him out of there, shut down the equipment and somone get him out."

I found this sound in the pak file a while ago and I thought it might be if you wait to long in the test chamber at the start however it never gets used. There is another just before it saying "He waited to long. We can't contain it."

Of course when you hear this at the end of the game it raises the interesing matter of what could have been. If Freeman had never pushed the crystal into the beam and the machine overloaded then Xen would never have come into contact with Earth and the combine would have never been able to invade. It's kind of a haunting message.

[Egon] Incinerator (not sure of the spelling)

Well I quite enjoyed playing that but again I don't think HL2 mapping is as personal as HL1. You use valve's props to make interesting scenes but it always comes off looking...well...like HL2.

I'd agree that snarks are a weapon. Maybe somthing was overlooked in their (very basic) AI. They can't seek you out around corners for example unless they have a clear line of sight. Maybe clipping and scripting doesn't apply to them. After all they only live for a few moments before bursting into a jittering puss cloud of excitement anyway.

in HOW THE HELL!? Post #165482
In the beginning I planned on all maps, skachennye from site TWHL, to make such mini surveys, after combining them into several, so called MapPackov, but after beginning to pass these creations, he understood that there are the works, which deserve separate, valuable description. Such modes for example are already Half- bodice Destiny and De-Railed.

ON THE OTHER SIDE In principle also deserves its own survey; therefore let us examine, however, which from itself presents this of modes.

Immediately one should all report that in this game to shoot for you it is not necessary, this creation by something is similar with Half- bodice Destiny, but to skachat' for the variety stands.

At this time we come out in the role 53- X of summer manager, which works in Black Mese and obviously there and living. Which for us is in prospect to see in this to mode.

In the beginning there will be the trip on Black Mese, on the arrival to the point of destination, the guard, who brings sufficiently long monologue, about Black Mesu, Gordon Freeman, and even about by something, will cordially meet us.

Only after hearing of this lecture, it will open to us door, after admitting us into the house, dear house. The decoration of our place of inhabiting, it gladdens eye and after running a little through the different rooms, can delight in by the wonderfully made map.

Here and everything. "nothing special" - will think you, it can and so, to me this creation was pleased; therefore 4 it decided to make a various survey.
I think this is supposed to say its good but I can't be sure.
